BEEBU

Beebu is a contemporary Fuji musician from Nigeria. He was rated amongst the Top 12 contestant of Ariya Repete reality TV show broadcasted via Soundcity TV in 2020. On this show, ID Cabasa (one of the judges of the show and a prominent name in the new Afrobeats industry) described Beebu and his style of music global worthy.

He collaborated with one of Ibadan finest Fuji musician, (Alhaji Tiri Leather) on the song titled ‘Journey Mi’ produced by TQ beats A.K.A TQ Mayana. In 2023, he was recognized and published by a writer of faceTV news Ghana. Also, a South African writer of Building Stans (a fandom network) recognized and published Beebu on their edition of ‘journey to a thousand fans’ Question and Answer session on Twitter.

With several recognition in Europe and America and most recently the United Arab Emirates. Fuji music was created by Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (late). The genre came into existence by fusing some of the traditional Yoruba sounds. Some of the notable exponents of this genre (Fuji music) are; Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (late), King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Dr. Saheed Osupa, Adewale Ayuba, Alhaji Taye Currency, Alhaji Tiri Leather and many more.
